County Courthouse
Cottle County, located in the rolling plains of Northwest Texas, was established by the Texas Legislature in 1876 and officially organized in 1892. Named after George Washington Cottle, who died defending the Alamo, its history is deeply tied to massive cattle ranches, early agriculture, and the railroad.
